WHY TO ADVERTISE UR DENTAL PRACTICE

...............M so proud to patch in one of my favourite topics here
These are questions that are often overlooked by the customer [the business marketing] and therefore the advert or “piece” presented may not be as effective as it should be and could be.

Logo.
Your logo is unimportant to your potential customer. It may be something that impresses your mum, but it takes up space and means “not much”.
A lot of dental surgeries have some form of a dancing tooth as their logo…
The public says: “So what?”

Your Company Name.
I see a lot of poor marketing where the dental practice name is prominent in the advertisement.
This is not necessary. It is taking up valuable space and often prime space.
Your practice name does not have to dominate your advertisement.

Photos.
Photos need to be relevant. Otherwise they are copy stealers.
A picture is not worth a thousand words when it is a useless picture.
A picture of your dental chair, or of the outside of your dental office are only relevant to your mum.

Headline.
Your headline needs to arouse curiosity.
Headlines that work best ask questions, and usually alert or remind the reader of a problem that they have.
Instead of suggesting a solution.
So a headline:
“Are you embarrassed by your crooked teeth?”
“How long has it been since you smiled in a photo?”
is far more effective than:
“Do you want straight teeth?”
Your reader is more likely to take action to move away from a painful situation than they are to move toward pleasure.

Copy.
Long copy sells.
Fill all your space with as much copy as possible.
Use your piece to drive the reader to your online information.

Get your copy professionally written. You get what you pay for.
My copy writer doesn’t drill teeth.

One Offer Only.
Don’t confuse your reader about what you do. Stop trying to pile up everything that you do in one small advert.
Pick your target market and focus on that for the entire advert.

Point of Difference.
What is your Unique Selling Proposition? [USP?]
Why should the reader choose your dental practice?
Your piece should clearly enunciate why the reader would be a fool to go anywhere else for their dental work, because your practice is the only one that does X and Y so well.

A Photo of The Team.
If space permits, a small PROFESSIONAL photo of a well-presented team [not in scrubs] is very useful.
But not at the expense of good necessary copy.
Your practice website should have professionally taken photos on it…not ones taken with an old Blackberry.

Call to Action.
The reader of your marketing piece needs to know what they need to do next…..
Spell. It. Out.
Lead the horse to water.

Follow these thoughts when organising your next advert.
Remember, if you copy what everyone of your competitors does, you’ll end up with the same poor results they do.
Find out what everyone else is doing and do the opposite!"

كن "صائدا ماهرا " و لا تكن "قناصا قاتلا "

ثقف نفسك فى عالم إداره و تسويق طب الفم و الأسنان بجميع تخصصاته من خلال متابعه الجديد على صفحات مدونتى

و لكى تتجنب أن تصبح قناصا فى جذب المريض أو الزبون فى عيادتك تعلم و ثقف نفسك و تدرب على الآتى :

  1.  " Classy Dental Staff " duties.
  2.  "Team Working System " missions.
تأكد تمام التأكد أن المريض أو الزبون فى عياده الأسنان يمتلك قرون إستشعار حساسه للتمييز بين نوعين من الأطباء ،  طبيب يتحسس رصيد حسابه البنكنوتى بكل وضوح و يستخدم كل الأساليب الممكنه لقنص أكبر قدر من الأموال مقابل الخدمه و بصرف النظر عن جودتها أو ملائمتها للسعر المادى المعروض و طبيب آخر مرحبا به ، يقدره  و يحترم إنسانيته و يسعى جاهدا لكسب ثقته و أصطياد ولاءه و مشعره بأهميته دوما و مأكدا له بأن زيارته لعيادته هو مصدر شرف و فرحه غامره لا تقدر بمال و يشركه دائما فى خيارات الخطه العلاجيه بكل سعاده و لديه العديد من البرامج العلاجيه الجذابه و المناسبه لأى شريحه أو وضع إقتصادى . 
 بين طبيب يعشق الماده من دون إكتراث و بين آخر يملك كل مقومات آداب المهنه و التعامل الراقى فى جوا من الآلفه و التواصل الفعال من دون ملل و دؤوب على المزيد من الجذب للزبائن و الأحتواء لكل المواقف من دون أى أعتراض .

أخيرا و ليس آخرا ، الزبون لن يسمح لك أن تركز على جذب  و قنص أكبر قدر من أمواله لأكثر من خدمه واحده و أعلم بأنها آخر زياره له إذا تكرر الأمر ذاته و هذا يعنى أنك خسرت 10 زبائن على أفضل تقدير و بالتالى فإن أسلوب قنصك حتما سيقتل نموك و إنتاجك فى عيادتك . 
أما إذا دربت نفسك على أن تصبح ماهرا فى صيد ولاء الزبون فأعلم أنه سيغفر لك أى أسلوب مشروع لعرض برامجك العلاجيه لأنه أحترمك و أحترم آدائك الراقى و لم يعد لديه أى حساسيه لطلب مزيدا من الخدمات و دفع المزيد من الأموال من دون إعتراض عالقيمه المطلوبه للخدمه بل و سخر نفسه بنفسه من دون مقابل كى يصبح مصدرا إيجابيا  "لا نهائيا  " للدعايه لجذب المزيد من الزبائن لمنشآتك لأنه أعتبر نفسه فى بيته من دون أى رسميات و نجاح العياده أصبح من أولوياته.....هذا هو النجاح الساحق بالفعل !

و الآن عزيزى الزميل الفاضل ، هل أخترت أم مازلت متحيرا بين أن تصبح طبيبا ماهرا فى صيد ولاء المريض و بين أن تصبح قناصا لأموال الزبائن و تقتل معدلات نموك فى غضون شهور قليله بسبب سلم المجد الزائف ( أقرأ مقاله المجد الزائف ).

المجد الزائف........الدرس الأول

  • من منا  , كأطباء أسنان  , لم يندم يوما ما على طريقه علاجه  ،"الغير مرضيه " أحيانا ، لبعض مرضاه و زبائنه على مدار حياته المهنيه ؟ سواء كان ذلك بقصد أو بغير قصد . قد يكون الخطأ فى وضع خطتك العلاجيه سواء كان عدم التوفيق فى أختيارها أو فى آليه تنفيذ برنامجها أو عدم موائمتها لحاله المريض آنذاك من حيث صحته العامه أو عمره أو أسلوب حياته أو ظروفه الأقتصاديه  و بمعنى أدق و أشمل غالبا ما يكون السبب الرئيسى هو "أنك لم تختار الخطه العلاجيه المناسبه للمريض المناسب فى الوقت المناسب ! و الأسوأ أن الظروف قد تدفعك أحيانا للقفز على أسوار العلم متخطيا و متحديا النظريات و المعطيات العلميه الطبيه من أجل تحقيق " مجد زائف " كدافع بشرى مغرى و لبرهه من الزمن !
  • قد يتمثل هذا المجد الزائف بل و الزائل فى الوقت نفسه ،...فى شهره خادعه و مؤقته مثلا أو فى حفنه من  أوراق البنكنوت التى تملأ محفظه جيبك الجلديه  لبعض الوقت أو فى إرضاء غرورك المهنى أو ربما تحقيق إنجاز أكاديمى "رقمى فقط " يضاف ككماله عدد كأحدى متطلبات رسالتك فى مجال الماجستير مثلا ......إلخ و أي كان  نوع الإغراء و الذى يدفعنا أحيانا للتخلى و لو لدقائق عن شرفنا العلمى فأعلم تمام العلم بأنك إذا أعتدت على هذا الأسلوب كثيرا فإنك حتما ستخسر شرفك الأدبى  "يوما ما" لأنك تضرب بعرض حائط العلم ، هذه المنحه الإلهيه الراقيه و التى خلقنا من أجل الأخذ بأسبابها لإعمار الأرض . لذا علينا أن نوصى أنفسنا بالتمسك بأسباب علوم طب الفم و جراحه الأسنان دوما و الذى يحثنا على الدقه و الجوده و إعمال الفكر أثناء آداء الخدمه الطبيه للمريض داخل أى منشآه طبيه سواء كانت عامه أو خاصه !
  • و إذا أجتهدنا فى البحث سويا فى الأسباب الجوهريه و التى قد تدفع أى طبيب أسنان" أحيانا " لإرتكاب مثل هذه المغامرات و المقامرات الغير علميه و الغير مدروسه و هنا أقصد الأسباب التى تدفع الطبيب لبيع شرفه المهنى مؤقتا مبررا لنفسه بأنه على سلم المجد ، و عبثا ما يحاول لأنه و كما ذكرنا هو سلم المجد الزائف ، فلن يكفينى سطور عشرات المقالات لعرضها و تحليلها و التحقيق فيها و التحقق فى مدى واقعيتها لأنها و ببساطه و بعد بحث مضنى على مدار 7 سنوات على الأقل ، أكتشفت أنها أسباب عديده و متشعبه و معقده الأرتباط فيما بينها و تختلف نسبيا من مجتمع لآخر . و تستطيع عزيزى الطبيب و القارئ أن تتابع سلسله مقالاتى فى هذه المدونه لأنك حتما ستجد نفسك فى سطور أحدى أو بضع هذه الأبحاث و التى سردتها و مازلت أسردها على صدر صفحات مدونتى !
  • قد تندهش  ،قد تصدم ، قد تتهمنى بالجنون ، قد تتهمنى بأننى أروج لفلسفه فارغه و سطحيه و قد تتهمنى بالسذاجه الفكريه و قد تغضب كثيرا و تنوى أن تقاطع مقالاتى البحثيه على صفحات هذه المدونه و ربما تتجاهل هذه المدونه برمتها . و لكننى أستسمحك أن تكمل هذه المقاله للنهايه كى تمنحنى حق الرد و الدفاع عن نظريتى . 
  • و كما ذكرت مسبقا أن الأندهاش هو رد فعلك المبدئى و البسيط جدا تجاه ما أسميته أنا "سلم المجد الزائف" ، وهذا حقك تماما ولا أستطيع أن أصادره أو أزايد عليه و لكن و ببساطه كل ما أتمنى أن أحققه من خلال هذه السطور القليله لهذه المقاله و التى نطالعها بأعيننا هو أن تتفق معى و بقوه بأن الأخذ بأسباب العلم فى مجال طب الأسنان  و إدارته و إنتاجه و تسويقه و بيعه هو مفتاح السر و طوق النجاه لأى طبيب أسنان يخطط لمنشآه طبيه راقيه و محترفه فى مجال طب الفم و الأسنان ، ولا أدعى أن هذا نجاح بالنسبه لى فى أننى وضعت أسس لأستراتيجيه ________________________________________________LEAP FROG MANAGING & MARKETTING STRATEGY IN BUSSINESS DENTIETRY . و لكن نجاحى الحقيقى هو أن تنبهر بالفكره و تقرأ مقالات هذه الأستراتيجيه للتسويق و العمل و الأنتاج داخل مؤسستك الطبيه الخاصه و تقرأ و تتعلم بنود تطبيقها خطوه بخطوه فى كتاب أدبى فى الأسواق و تبدأ فى طلب المساعده و الدعم منى فى تفعيلها على أرض الواقع ، فهذا هو طموحى و نجاحى الحقيقى !

Smear campaign

Unfortunally , one of my clients accused me that m leading a smear campaign against his dental practice !
---------------------------------------------------------   STORY     ----------
The story begins,   2 months before ,  when he requested the support of the" quality control team "of my office to make an" official check round visit " inside his dental office in order to examine , diagnose the reasons for his" practice crashing ". He claimed " m doing everything , however i earn nothing".i should mention also that He excused me,  in a dead urgency ,to be so serious to uncover the problem because he got mad and so frustrated !!!!
--------------------------------------------------------RESULTS--------------
After 5 days of a useful check round inside his practice, the report got topped my desk , nothing more needed now other than meeting the concerned dentist & express the items discovered by my team inside his practice regarding  " his crashing project".
---------------------------------------MEETING------------------------------
Eagerly , when i got face to face meeting with him into my office , i asked him about the term(everything) mentioned in his later statment "m doing everthing...............". He tells the following;
First: m working 10 hours & more daily inside my practice.
Second ; even i open at the weekend.
Third ; m serving the cheapest price list in my town in comparison to my  competetors.
Fourth ; m paying 1/2million $ every year for funding public advertisments.
Fifth; my name is invading all of the town's streets via an awesome outdoors.
Sixth ; i supply my front desk members with more cell phone bussiness sims to facilitate patient's communication with my office & cancel my earth line phones to be up to date with new era of technology......... & more.
-------------------------------------------conclusion------------------
After 30 minutes of reviewing his report , he was so hopeless , specially when i tell him that "unfortunally u r doing everything that harm the development of ur practice " . 
Suddenly he end the meeting shoutting me angrily saying " it seems that u r a fraud who is kidding me & leading the smear campaign which is the reason for my crashing " 
I replied " thanks for ur tasty words , but m insisting that u r not controlling ur practice & actually u r a slave for it  ,,,,, no system , no control , frustration & crashing 'll arrive necessarily very soon .

* Never ever to rise ur price list with the excuse that  " inflation is comitted ", & when ur customer inquiries for more details , ur staff reply in a very cute & innocent manner , saying " Sorry sir for inconveniency but the FUEL price has increased into double X , worthy to note also that $ VALUE have doubled into 20 X  regarding national currency   " so we r pushed to do that in order to cover the funding gap , otherwise we 'll lost more cashes , again we r so sorry "

NOW TELL ME , HONESTLY, ONE REASON FOR ANY NEW PATIENT TO BE ATTRACTED TO UR PRACTICE OR FOR THE OLD ONES TO BE RETENTED OR EVEN FOR ANY FUTURE FERERRAL , WHILE U R MANAGING , HABHAZOURDLY , UR OFFICE FOLLOWING THE PHILOSOPHY OF PACKMAN OR THE GROCERY ( WITH FULL RESPECT FOR BOTH CARRIERS) ? 

M sure that u haven,t any logic answer regarding bussiness & marketting strategies . because ur random ideology is the master.

PRICE LIST ESTABLISHMENT PROCESS -----------> is an art u should learn LETS LEARN TOGETHER .DO U MIND?

STAFF MEMBERS IN DENTAL OFFICE

  • Avoid staff rewarding in case they r acting in thier mandatory processes within ur system , avoid spoiling them......> only salaries
  • Only & u should offer a collective & a special rewards to them in case of creation &/ or achieving leap results regarding no.of booking or cash flow revenue , to earn thier loyality & avoiding thier future depression or striking......>salaries + bonus from net profits+ special bonus for the active member.
  • U should do a collective salary discount & administrative penalties in case of a defective duties causing a turblent marketting system & bad cash flow results, this done to avoid spoiling them & refresh thier minds .......> cut % from salary + penalties

U should be a classy staff in dealing e' ur patients , so u should ;

  1. Adore patient's need.
  2. Respect patient's time.
  3. Be thankful for his/her co-operation.
  4. Praising his time respect .
  5. Approach him /her as a lovely friend.
  6. Keep on contact e' him whatever ur time inconvenience when he needs ur support.
  7. Act as his phsychatrist when he need.
  8. Retreat in case he hate curiousty.
  9. Share him his good news.
  10. Support him in bad news.
  11. Greeting him eagerly upon his entrance to ur operating room.
  12. Express ur missing feelings on time of dismissing.
  13. Sincerly ensure the eager feelings for sake of revisiting ur office.
  14. Follow up him in case of sudden absence.

FALSE ESTIMATION

Guessing that patient,s retention inside ur dental office is intimately related to ur strict system orders is not 100% true , because u should update the tools of ur system from time to time to avoid unforced leakage  inside ur dental practice.

Take Care ; some patients try to buy ur sympathy by attacking  the honor of one of ur near competetors due to disagreement in thier relation, unfortunally u may misunderstood this situation& translated as patient's loyality, in fact it isn't a real loyality,
In this case u r driving the situation from a false proud platform due to sense of revenge regarding " competetion basis ". u should retreat & evaluate the case of this patient on the basis of new comer patient & forget that he/she is an old customer belonging to other dental office but in the same time try to investigate the reason of his leakage from that office , sure ; this is the stud of horse instead of creating a false ambitions ~ inside ur dental practice's plan.

  1. Limiting the daily booking schedule , then a waiting list is thier fate,
  2. F ur customer insist on booking while seats is off , then premium customer booking is must ,

  1. U should wear an overhead when u r on +ve duty , even f u have a fantastic hair type & style to lessen cross contamination among ur staff & later on ur family member.
  2. U should put off ur jewellaries also.
  3. U should wear a flat or even a sporty footwear  & stop wearing high heel shoes in ur dental office cause its noisy knocking steps irritate patients then , his stress dose 'll increase .

  9. Avoid overperfuming urself while u r in an active duty.
  10. Educate urself in the field of body language more , then u can assess clearly any strange patient's responses & help u to be creative in this field  e.g u become able to send the "right body language message " to the exact type of patient in time.
